The 4th is dominated by Clinton & Obama appointees, and outside of the Reagan appointee the few remaining Bush I/Bush II picks may be little better than moderates, so no surprise they found a reason to stiff VA. Ruling that they do not have standing seems pretty weak and chickensh*t to me. Do not states comprise people who would be forced into this scheme and be fined if they don't? Do not these people most directly obtain representation and much of their health care funding/delivery through state sponsored administration of medicaid and other indigienous programs? No standing my ass!
This should be a no-brainer for the Supreme's to remedy, but there are other cases lurking out there too. This abomination has to get struck down and soon, or it may be too late for us all!
