I think you've got it right. I think Obama's utterly broken childhood created a sociopath who has insulated himself from the human need to love and be loved. He feeds on mutual hate between himself and those he despises. He wants our hatred because it means he is succeeding, and he accepts the adoration of those he would enslave with the fruits of our productivity because their adoration serves his cynicism.
I may be completely off-base. But having gone through the adoption process and all the work it entails requiring one to learn about how children learn to love, attach, socialize, and bond with other human beings; and applying that to how Obama was treated like cumbersome luggage, and rejected by his father, stepfather, and finally by his own mother; and how his identity has been changed from Barack Obama, to Barry Soetoro, and back again - I see no way that this man ever learned to properly relate to other human beings. He's a sociopath.
