Denver... Wyoming?

Oops! Silly White House. Silly Democrats. Ha-ha, Hee-hee-hee. Isn't it funny and simply aaadoooorable when Democrats get things wrong? Of course, it doesn't mean they're stupid or moronic, does it? Nah. Just an endearing mistake.

Now if a Republican White House had made a mistake like this - or let's say, candidate Michele Bachmann or God forbid, Sarah Palin - well then, it would be a full-blown gaffe, and lock-tight evidence of the inbred hillbillies that make up the Republican party and its retarded conservative base. But when Democrats do it, it's just cute and funny.

White House fails basic geography test

Looks like someone in the White House press office needs to brush up on his or her U.S. geography.

The press office issued credentials to those reporters and photojournalists who are covering the president’s trip this week to Washington state, California, and Colorado. The credential even provides a handy graphic highlighting (in white) which states the president will visit.

The only problem?

Wyoming is highlighted, not Colorado. To be fair, both states are rectangular, nearly identical in size, and stacked next to each other. But we doubt our third grade teachers would buy that!

Really? Is that the new standard of "fair" for failing basic geography for the whole nation to see? I mean, there ARE only 50 f***ing states. Is it too much to ask that the President and the people with whom with he surrounds himself get basic facts correct about the composition of our nation? And nice try with the "third grade teacher" comment. We'll see how many of them "buy" this piece of sh¡t at the polls next November. My guess is that third grade teachers will show up in full force to vote for the man who can't tell the difference between Colorado and Wyoming.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson

If that mistake was made in a speech, well, that happens too often BUT this graphic wasn't completed by one person.
This map went through several hands before printing or even if it was a xerox...aw sjot, a 4th grade Christmas present was a puzzle of all the states including NY and DC.
