Ford Drive One "Press Conference: Chris" Commerical

"I wasn't going to buy another car that was bailed out by our government. I was going to buy from a manufacturer that's standing on their own: win, lose, or draw. That's what America is about is taking the chance to succeed and understanding when you fail that you gotta' pick yourself up and go back to work. Ford is that company for me."

Ford fought FDR and the unions back then and it is pleasing to see that those genes are still there.

Go Ford.

Ford did pull the ad, and off of YouTube as well.  Then, in response to the speculation, they said "no, just part of the normal rotation" -- here, pull my finger -- and then put it back on YouTube.

I'll pass on those Chevy OnStars and those Chrysler Fiats.

Bring back the Grand Marquis.

Yeah, I read somewhere they figured the cost of fighting this one like Boeing vs throwing in the towel swung the decision to throwing in the towel.  That and union issues no doubt.  Would have preferred a fight myself, but its their checkbook on the line, not mine.
