Wow. I haven't been following this super-closely, but from what I was gleaning by osmosis it seemed as if this girl was pegged as a psychopathic killer, and the verdict was all but a done-deal.

There was a tremendous propaganda campaign in favor of Knox, and I'm not buying her "innocence." There was a great deal of other evidence besides the supposedly contaminated DNA.

The slander conviction was upheld...and sentence was made "time served" and that frees her.

I think she's guilty as hell.

The whole case seemed bizarre from the get go and I don't know all the workings of Italian legal procedure, but it is done and that is it.  I think she is guilty of something, what it is I have no idea, but now it resides in the purview of the Allmighty for final justice.  His Will Be Done.
