Best. Ticker. Ever.
« on: October 05, 2011, 06:51:25 PM »
Don't just take my word for it.  Read the comments.  Practically everybody is saying it.

Better yet, read the Ticker itself.  It is a brilliantly succinct and understandable explanation of how we came to be in our present economic fix.  It ties many different problems together and relates them to one another.
We are so far past and beyond the “long train of abuses and usurpations” that the Colonists and Founders experienced and which necessitated the Revolutionary War that they aren’t even visible in the rear-view mirror.

Very good piece. It rings with truth. Juxtaposed against the sh¡t sandwich the Leftists are trying to feed us and the Pubbies seem determined to help us swallow, it is a complete mystery to me how anyone could read it and even attempt to then serve up the sh¡t sandwich.

Which leads me back to the same conclusion: The establishment elites know exactly what they're doing. This destruction isn't happening by accident.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

A little heavy on the blame evil bankers and shadowy fat cats but a good piece all in all.

It maybe be awful tough with health care, but no one is forced to get that worthless Poli Sci (or History  ::laughonfloor::) degree from Carleton, for $45,000 per year.  There are alternative places of learning, offering up degrees that lead to actual gainful employment, RIGHT NOW.

Housing.  Yes we can, now even.  No one is forced into the McMansion.  I've always managed to have relatively low housing debt, just working my way up to the final home, which is paid off...this month.  ::danceban::  What, you can't do that living in New York City or Los Angeles?  Move then.

The thing is, those little monkeys in New York do have a right to be pissed off.  Thanks to getting shafted in the education area, they just have no idea of who they should be pissed off at.
