I recall reading long ago that the CCP standing committee by education had one econ major and the rest engineers.
Xi got a chemical engineering degree. At least they had a reality based education. The US? I read a good book Why the West Can't Win. He contrasted the physical reality of much of the world vs western virtual reality. There is a very high correlation between energy consumption and economic well being.
Russia and China seem to believe in physical reality. The recent attempts to take down Russia with sanctions showed what a joke much of the west is.
Most of the sanctions have backfired...the one doing the best of late seems to be on oil, since their output and revenues are way down...and there has to be a cash drain starting due to their war and purchases from China that oil sales cannot catch up with...
Other sanctions could be argued to be successful as they triggered a tit for tat, if totally ineffective there would be no tit for tat...
And as for reality, not everybody in the West is clueless, just the current corrupt political leadership, the DeepState, sundry crony capitalists and Cucks...if the will of the people was respected things would be much different...
