There is some thick rich hypocrisy going on here from the FJB Regime...

The elected government of Hungary is NOT permitted to block, slow, stall, impede or otherwise interfere in the operations of the U.S. State Dept and CIA to control the nation of Hungary. The efforts of Hungary to maintain its sovereign status are NOT acceptable. So sayeth the institutions that ultimately seek control over other nations.

Given the years of protestations and claims about Russia interfering in USA politics, if those expressed positions against the Hungarian government sound like massive hypocrisy from the United States, you would be correct. But hey, that’s how the USA operates now.

Hungary is investigating the subversive activity of foreign interest groups inside the sovereign nation. The State Dept and CIA are furious.

BUDAPEST (Reuters) -Hungary’s Sovereignty Protection Office launched an investigation on Tuesday into the Hungarian branch of the anti-corruption watchdog Transparency International (TI) and an online investigative outlet that focuses on corruption.

Hungary’s parliament passed a law late last year that set up an authority, the Sovereignty Protection Office, to explore and monitor risks of political interference.

The law, which has been criticised by the European Union, the United States and several international organisations, bans foreign financing for parties or groups running for election and carries punishments of up to three years in prison.

[…] The law was criticised by the U.S. State Department, as well as by a panel of constitutional law experts from the Council of Europe, a human rights watchdog, which said it can have “a chilling effect” on free and democratic debate in the country.

The new global “democracy” is apparently defined as the ability of approved western nations to interfere in the election outcomes of other nations. If you do not permit the State Dept., CIA and USAID to control the political outcomes in your country, well, you are not really a democracy.

He interviews a German journalist who wrote a book after visiting western then eastern Ukraine. His book in German was 13th on their best seller list. The book sellers only carried 1-12 then 14th under pressure to not include his reports on his travels. He goes into details on how the modern German and other countries is controlled. E.g. German govt used to oppose the US iraq war. Not anymore where they are controlled by the west. The EU elites are angling for their next jobs in large NGOs likle NATO, EU, IMF, World Bank, etc

Children of elites get journalistic internships and learn what is acceptable to write.

People in former east Germany are more resistant as they lived through commie propaganda and see it again but coming from the west.

I have noticed that the west tries very hard to control any reporting from Russia or Russian controlled Ukraine.
In his case he was visiting Russian controlled eastern Ukraine and not planned but it was the time of local elections.
So he reported some on that. One of his employers fired him for doing that. maybe university employer.
IMO the west is trying to hide a lot.

I think that Russian journalists are allowed to report from the US. When Tucker went to Russia the US govt and MSM went nuts.

Thankfully there are lots of independents that roam around Russia and elsewhere. The MSM does not carry them but they are on social media and youtube.

The western narrative on the Ukr war is so fragile that almost any RU reporting is a threat to the US. It does not have to be about the war.

A MSNBC reporter wandered around Crimea and asked silly questions. One was if the person on the street considered themselves as ukr or RU? Kiev govt went nuts over that one. Western govt and MSM have been reporting on Crimea as "Russian occupied Crimea" for a long time, never asking the locals. Imagine the Russians reporting from "US occupied Hawaii" then getting upset if the locals said they were Americans.

I had some long video on interviewing some French author who wrote a book on 10 things that surprised him about Ukraine, that he got wrong. I think I fell asleep.

One was that EU turned into a US lapdog. Some EU countries used to stand up to the US. Germany opposed the Iraq war. Apparently the US took steps to make the EU a US lapdog.
