When Marxism and Community Organizing Attacks

Quote
To be clear: these “grievances” on parade are not the point of the protests, at least, not to those who are orchestrating all this. Instead, the point of the protests is to con weak-willed pragmatic panders like Romney, or weak-willed and frightened “leaders” like Eric Cantor and John Boehner, to allow for the grievances, to sympathize with them, to begin speaking in the language of the left’s carefully crafted narrative, and to make concessions while remaining constantly on the defensive.

And I'd already read about Cantor's "allowances" in agreeing there is too much income disparity in the country.

He's wrong.  There's brain cell disparity in this country.

There is also a lack of critical thinking going on with this bunch.

Alinsky rode into town on a one-trick pony that the Left has since turned into its warhorse: Agitate one side’s grievances, and appeal to another side’s decency and gullibility in order to provoke the establishment, whose reaction will unite the other two. Then the community organizer charges in on his nag-turned-steed and proceeds to set the rot in motion under the banner of “progress.”

It is the very devil’s work, and Alinsky certainly made a splendid devil: unctuous and whiny at the same time, and always casting himself as the real, heroic victim standing for progress, when in fact he was a particularly nasty, cowardly kind of cultural vandal.

The entire Left/Right dynamic that brought us to the brink of disaster, summed up in one sentence fragment.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson

See what playing nice gets you?

Will they ever learn?

I doubt it...
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

I doubt it, too.  David Horowitz has been TRYING TO TELL THEM for years just what they're up against.  He should know, he was one of the radical left.  Do they listen?  NO.

Someone spoke here and said one of Boeners last press conferences earned him a primary.
Naturally the MSM have not reported this. Possibly his opponent needs some $$$$.

If only McConnell were is this predicament also.

The smartest thing for all conservative politicians to say about OWS is nothing at all ... or at the most ; " I don't know ...we'll see ." Let the Dems and liberals have them . The media is shovelling on the coal and would like nothing better than a confrontation of a sort that will make conservatives look bad . The coming cold weather will do more than anything else to take the fire out of those idiots . In the mean time we should shut the hell up and let them hang themselves by their own petard .

There is a measure of truth to that SH, I think the public opposition to these idiots and the crap they are spouting is much higher than the MFM would like to admit.  But I think the best response out of conservatives mouths is an honest one.  Something along the lines of "I am supportive of every American's right of assembly and freedom of speech, but there are troubling signs as to who is financially supporting this so-called spontaneous movement and much of the radical statements coming out of these protests are shocking and threaten the constitutional Republic we all cherish so much and the economic system that has given us unprecedented national wealth for all of its citizens the like of which has never before been seen in all of human history.  I think the protesters anger is misplaced and is better directed at those who have squandered our national wealth with overspending, regulation and enormous unsustainable debt."
