They're Finally Together!
« on: October 27, 2011, 08:55:46 PM »
LORD... THEY ARE FINALLY TOGETHER ....

Judy married Ted; they had 13 children. Ted died.

She married again, and she & Bob had 7 more children.

Bob was killed in a car accident, & 12 years later Judy remarried again.

... and this time, she & John had 5 more children.

Judy finally died, after having 25 children.

Standing before her coffin, the preacher prayed for her. He thanked the Lord for this very loving woman and said,

"Lord, they are finally together."

Ethel leaned over and quietly asked her best friend, Margaret:

"Do you think he means her first, second, or third husband?"

Margaret replied:

"I think he means her legs, Ethel...."

I'm not always engulfed in scandals, but when I am, I make sure I blame others.

An elderly lady was visiting her new doctor for a check-up and he asked her ; " Have you been bedridden recently ?"
She replied ; " Oh no . Not since my husband died twenty years ago !"

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson
