The Blaming Of The Shrew: A Study In Bitchiness

That bitchy first lady of ours is being profiled again about her temper, her anger and her overall bitchiness:

Quote
Michelle’s back, and she’s madder than ever. She was already pretty angry, seemingly unhappy with just about everything. As her husband wrapped up the Democratic nomination in 2008, she let fly her real feelings: “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country.” A few months into her job as first lady, her French counterpart asked how she liked the gig: “Don’t ask!” she reportedly spat. “It’s hell. I can’t stand it!”

She even seems to be mad at her silver-tongued husband. When the two were to set off on a luxurious 10-day vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, she left early - four hours early - and flew up alone. And those private vacations. She’s traveled to some of the world’s most plush resorts, taking 42 days off in the past year - that’d be eight weeks of vacay time if she held down a normal job.

Now, she is ready to spew her bilious disgust with America on the campaign trail. A dignified, transcendent first lady? No chance. Michelle is going to break with a hundred years of tradition and play the role of attack dog, heaping derision on her husband’s political opponents like no other first lady before her.

Someone must have utterly convinced Michelle that a perpetually seething woman is the very apex of charm and inner beauty because she just keeps pressing this behavior. Let's hope that she spends lots and lots of time on the campaign trail.

Fits in well with the whole bitch theme.

I suspect she mates like a praying mantis, she bites off the male's only useful (to her) parts and stores them for her future egg laying.

The only male she tolerates is her twin brother, but he spends most of his time these days flying around with Han Solo in the Millennium Falcon.

She's the type that knows what she's doing is counter-productive but can't stand being told what not to do, so she'll be what she is - a high-riding btch -- and y'all will TAKE it.

Very accurate assessment.

and misunderstood what he meant.

Maybe when she met Barry all those years ago he told her that an about to explode, simmering woman was cute and a totally out-of-control enraged maniac was really, really sexy and she, you know, decided to plan her life accordingly.

Or maybe she has always had a borderline personality disorder and he just couldn't get enough of her public displays of irrational and anti-social behavior. (She must be a real pistol in private...woo! too!)

I'm good with either theory.

But you have to wonder just how long she can keep her raging temper under control. When will she just cut loose and smack him in public? Or how long before he has to wear shades to hide a bruise? If she gets really worked up do you think he can take her? Or will she just have a stroke?

These are questions that need answers.

Wonder if the White House is going to be ordering new sets of fine china? All the existing pieces mysteriously ending up embedded in the plaster walls.

Ah, the coffee mug shaped indentations in the walls. What must the maintenance staff think?

There are likely other, better diagnoses for her behavior besides BPD so feel free to offer your own.

Some may say she's full blown personality disorder
me, I think she's just eccentric.
