Two U.S. lawmakers will introduce measures to impose a transaction tax on financial firms that resembles a proposal released by the European Union.
“It’s a significant way to raise some needed revenue,” Harkin said in an interview today in Washington. “Quite frankly, I bet nobody would even feel it.”
Well, at least the article mentions that it is almost certain to fail...but they are floating it just the same. Just like the VAT earlier in Obama's term, etc.
The elimination of an eligibility requirement to vote was one of the first items the socialists accomplished toward dissembling traditional America. The candidates have put so much on their plates right now is not the time to address realistic voter qualification. If we survive this election and remain a Republic this must me seriously addressed. We had a Poll Tax. If you wanted to vote it was necessaryto deliberately go to customer service at the grocery andpurchase it. That would put a kink in the bus-a-thons andSoros would spend a chunk of change paying an extra $25.00 a vote.
No meaningful voter qualification will ever again occur. They would never survive the accusations of racism.
