Quote
BOSTON—A special commission charged with studying rising health care costs in Massachusetts is recommending the creation of an independent oversight panel to identify acceptable and unacceptable reasons for price variations in care based on which hospital or doctor is used.

The Special Commission on Provider Price Reform was created by lawmaker last year. It also recommends that state regulators be given the authority to settle price disputes between insurers and health care providers if the cost of a medical procedure exceeds the market-based median.

So, Romneycare is proving to be too expensive. And the fix is a panel of unelected experts intervening in private transactions.

Coming soon to the entire country -- unless the Republicans stop it.

I can't adequately describe how angry this makes me.

Think of it this way; The future of the country and of our children, is basically resting in the hands of one supreme court justice and a handful of wishy-washy Republicans headed by Boehner...

Looks like a good noose to throw around Mitten's neck, eh?!

100% correct Libertas - it's exactly why the dems want to run against Mittens imo. Romneycare will x-out Obamacare as an issue and since Romneycare has history and Obamacare doesn't yet, the dems can strangle Romney with it while denying that Obamacare will do more of the same, just on a national level.

Fun & games...

This is exactly why Romney CAN NOT be the Republican nominee - well, aside from the obvious; that he isn't a conservative.

It's one reason, there are many, but this may be the biggest, so yeah, let's end this flirtation with the "it's his turn" nonesense and shelve Mittens for good!
