Apparently these folks in Pennsylvania still can’t come to grips with the fact Joe Paterno will no longer be coaching in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky child molestation scandal.

This is just sick.

    Victim One, the first known alleged victim of abuse by former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky, had to leave his school in the middle of his senior year because of bullying, his counselor said Sunday.

    Officials at Central Mountain High School in Clinton County weren’t providing guidance for fellow students, who were reacting badly about Joe Paterno’s firing and blaming the 17-year-old, said Mike Gillum, the psychologist helping his family. Those officials were unavailable for comment this weekend.

    The name-calling and verbal threats were just too much, he said.

    Other alleged victims are turning to each other for support, since they fear others will out them and cause a media swarm. The only encouragement for Victim One, Gillum said, is watching other alleged victims come forward because they felt empowered by his courage.

More sympathy for Paterno than for the victims. Yup, they’ve got their priorities straight.

Meanwhile, this freak Sandusky is still out and about sporting Penn State gear.

    Victim One had to change schools. Joe Paterno was in hiding. Mike McQueary was getting death threats.

    And Jerry Sandusky appeared jolly, smiling and greeting people in Penn State clothing as he shopped at stores and worked out at the gym.

    “Neighbors are snapping at each other,” said Susan Strauss, who lives next door to the Sanduskys’ house on Grandview Road. “This is just really hard for them to handle. It’s a kind of betrayal, even though they didn’t betray us.”

The dude is a sociopath. Who on earth would want to be seen in public with such allegations hanging over their head?

This morning it was announced former FBI Director Louis Freeh was named to a panel investigating the scandal. He’s got his work cut out for him.

There used to be a time where there was a general consensus on what was BAD.  Now people don't even have the decency to pretend something is bad.
