Heh, and things moved at a slower pace in the Roman days, just think how much faster we are able to ruin ourselves today!

But no matter, give people some bloodsport to entertain them while we sink into the abyss!  It's all about distraction, and we have a Regime filled with master practicioners of the nefarious art!
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

It was fascinating, the rise and fall of 5000 years of
civilizations through the lens of debt.

Will anybody be left alive to write our demise?

If so, they would be justified in judging us harshly, I just hope they blame the right people (the looters!)!

Which one's?
The slavers who set the trap
or the dullards who stepped in it?

The former much more than the latter, but I forgive neither.
