Harry Morgan, 96, passed away today.  The acting I know him for was his role as Colonel Potter in MASH.

RIP, Mr. Morgan.

The guy has been in the movies, forever.  Heck, he was already 60ish by the time MASH rolled around.

I remember some of his old tv shows, Gladys and Dragnet in particular

I did like McLean Strphenson better in Mash as the commander

Never liked MASH. Dragnet though - now THAT was some television. The dialogue between him and Webb was classic.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson
