OK, mods, if you need to move this I'll understand. My original intent was to post this in the humor section, but the more I read it, the angrier I got....
In the coming New Year, 2012, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will
occur on the same day (02/02/12)
This is an ironic juxtaposition of events.
One involves a traditional ritual in which we look to a dumb creature for prognostication. You could toss a coin and get decisions which are just as accurate.
The other is a groundhog.....
