Another "Which candidate am I aligned with" test

The test supposedly produces your top three in order. I'm Bachmann > Paul > Perry. Ideologically speaking, that seems about right for me. But it has little to do with my level of support. I love Bachmann, but she's given me cause to doubt her discipline and thus her ability to win. Paul has positions on foreign policy that undermine any thought of supporting him for President. Of the three, I would most likely support Perry, even though I have major problems with him as well. Not in the mix is Santorum, who I like a great deal.

Still, an interesting little quiz, quick, and the result is not completely whacked-out.

Bachmann, Perry, Santorum.

I agree with IDP about Bachmann and I don't trust Santorum;
he's a (not Tea) Party man.

I think the logic behind the candidates and the questions has some flaws in it...

Silly/fun exercises is all, let's not put too much stock in it!

All of the statements given to choose from replicate
statements of the respective candidate; however,
an individual statement does not represent the cumulative
thought of a candidate on the subject.  

At the end of the exercise it asks if you want to "play" again.
My thought at the end was that it was a poll.

Mine says 1) PAUL 2) Bachmann 3) Perry.   

I pretty much knew it was going to be Paul and Bachmann. I've heard many of the statements before and pretty much knew who they belonged to. No way in he!! would I vote Paul in a primary. I would vote for  him if he was the nominee. Anything is better than Obama. Paul wouldn't get much accomplished though. Paul's statement about it's pretty much the U.S fault for 9/11 totally throws him to the back of the pack.

 .....Now I'm trying to figure out who I would vote for if it came down to only two. Obama or Carter. Now there is a interesting proposition.  ::saywhat::

I notice Romney is not on anyone's list.  Also, Bachmann seems to be the clear winner.  She gets the most mentions, plus if you weight 1st place a score of 3, 2nd place a 2, and third place a 1 then here's how the candidates score so far

1. Bachmann - 17
2. Paul - 11
3. Newt - 10
4. Perry - 8
5. Tie between Santorum and Huntsman - 1

It's a bit of an exercise in ridiculousness. Hand picking statements and positions made by the candidates and then making you choose between them? That is hardly a fair test. Sometimes one statement or position is enough to be a deal breaker.

You have to look an the entirety of a candidate's statements and positions over a long period of time and weigh the lot of it carefully.

I say WTH too. According to this FUDmucker test my preferred candidate is....(drumroll)....Rupaul.
I would never vote for Rupaul.
