Dontchya just love living in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged?

Wonder what the idiot Cenk will say when the whole thing blows up...

I bet it is something like "the 1% just cashed out and left us to die"!

Speak for yourself Cenk, and honestly, many of you should be left to die...

Cenk closed with a diatribe: “He wants to blame the government for the problem, but he knows it’s his banker friends who have given those donations, who buy their senators, who buy their staff members, so they can get more money. … Socialism my ass!”

Socialism his ass, indeed. How does this moron think socialism works?  And it's not limited to bankers.  He admits to the problem crux, but wants to call it something else?

Quote
“If you want to stop that, you’ve gotta take the power away from the politicians.”

Peter Schiff has it exactly right; there would be nothing to buy if the politicians had nothing to sell.

"Let us assume for the moment everything you say about me is true. That just makes your problem bigger, doesn't it?"

If Uygur isn't a Socialist then why does he consistantly use Socialist/Marxist arguing points ?

By the way ... Spell Check doesn't accept his name so why should we ? It makes sense to me that if his name isn't correct then neither are his ideas . Just thinkin' .  ::thinking::

Hey Cenk. Who’s responsible in a nefarious transaction; the one who sells what they should not be selling? Or the one who is coerced to purchase what should not be available?

Surely there is responsibility to go around. But the bottom line is, if politicians were not whoring out money and access, there would be nothing nefarious available for “fat cats” to buy from government.

Long way of saying exactly what Pan said.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson

Yet more evidence that the political system is beyond peaceful repair.
