I think in Russia they have a different standard for "normal radiation levels" . They also have different standards for "safe landings" of aircraft . A "wheels up" landing of a Tupelev airliner means "wheels upside down" .

Yeah, they may not have the full luxury of treating everyone as expendable lick the ChiCom's or Nork's, but they are not as far behind as people might think...

Russia has a nice long history of one small elite group oppressing the crap out of a larger weaker group...it's in their DNA.

Must be why Russian's are so damn cheerful all the time.
