The Regime shut down Megaupload today.  Can hear the cheers from Hollyweird form here, didn't take long, Hollywood just bitched yesterday.

Chris Dodd threatened them, said we'll cut your money off.

Threats, intimidation...The Regime and their watercarriers march merrily along...
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

Anonymous launched a DDoS attack on DoJ in retaliation for Megaupload bust.

Once again, an outfit sourced outside the US get nailed under law that can be used against anybody here at home.  Obviously, I'm no fan of Anonymous, that's for sure, but hard to work up any sympathy for that Jackboot Holder and his Dept of (In)Justice either.

It appears that historically the "pirate" market has always benefited
the original industry including the performer.  The industry approached
or projects its numbers to the government in the same static fashion
the government projects budgets.  Neither take into consideration the
unintended consequences which are usually the opposite of projections.

There is not sympathy here for their plea.

House & Senate table it, not that they couldn't sneak it in somewhere down the line, but for now, good news is good news.  But let us not let up watching these clowns!

Modern tradition has it that just after they say
they are finished or right after they say never
again they put it back in.  It's an Øbamanation.
