Yeah, it's Politico, so if it is an incorrect story, well, bad on them!

Think it was another Establishment set-up?
Working to depress us outliers one more time.

Weisshaupt, has just convinced me, my distraction
caused by their putting so much false value on the
presidency.  I'm not voting for Romney and I'm re-
doubling my interest in both houses of congress.
Jim DeMint said that was the important thing months
ago.  He can read the writing on a wall while the rest
of us are chasing the chickens.

Over at HotAir they've got CNN claiming Trump will endorse Romney, and the WSJ claiming that he will endorse Gingrich. That's a pretty basic fact (of which there are only two 180ยบ options) for there to be media "confusion".

Could that misinformation be coming from Trump himself? That seems the only likely possibility. Then to what end? I guess we'll see. Jumping in?
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Trump was not always so positive regarding Romney's record. During an interview on CNN's "State of the Union" in April, Trump criticized Romney for eliminating jobs while in the private sector.

"He'd buy companies. He'd close companies. He'd get rid of jobs," Trump told CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley. "I've built a great company. My net worth is many many times Mitt Romney."

Perhaps in reference to Trump's earlier comments, Romney said Thursday after thanking Trump for the endorsement, "I spent my life in the private sector, not quite as successful as this guy but successful nonetheless."

It is the audience of his ( and other) reality shows which makes trumps endorsement matter...... Think about it, whoever he endorses, most of his minions will vote.
