The Dolt in the Volt
« on: March 23, 2011, 01:21:21 PM »
I'm the Dolt in the Volt,
And i'm here to say,
Driving is Fun,
If your trip is one way.

Volts engine is quiet, just like a mouse,
It runs on electricty,
Just like your house

I'm the Dolt in the Volt,
And I'm here to say,
Driving is fun,
If your trip is one way.

Oh GM, and oh obama,
I think the Volts great,
But there are problems that just can't wait.
My Volt don't run in the cold,
It is weak in the heat,
Not to mention the cheap driver seat.
And when will I be able to find a charge?
And to save the planet, it can't be 40 large.

So here I am,
The Dolt in the Volt,
telling you driving is fun,
If you're only going one MF way.

I'm not always engulfed in scandals, but when I am, I make sure I blame others.

There once was a car run on batt-ries,
T'was built in U.S. Gub-mint fact-ries,
When asked of a man,
who drives cars from Japan,
"Would you own this car?" "Not exact-ry."
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

First two comments are awesome!

Note to the Secret Service:Trust me, the Volt is perfectly safe. Let Obama get into one. Just make sure you cram Biden and Pelosi in there with him.

 Don't forget Dingey Harry!!!

More likely the Secret Service didn't want to get their a$$es toasted.

GM "temporarily" (cough!) stops Volt production!

1300 laid off.

Plans toi resume in (cough!) April.
