I was impressed by this metaphoric examination of recent events in Øbominationland. Short of posting the entire thing, excerpting doesn't do it justice. Read it: http://www.omegaletter.com/articles/articles.asp?ArticleID=7222

Yes, good piece; thanks, Soup.

Heretics and blasphemers they are.  How dare they.

Yup, real good read.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Five Star
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

The man who for better than two years  was loath to end a speech with the words "God Bless America"
now proclaims himself a Christian two times in the last seven days, something he has refrained from
saying through the course of his presidency.

If Superman can get fed up with being a "tool of U.S. Foreign Policy" and renounce his citizenship ... why then can't Stymie renounce HIS citizenship and just be what he is ... a tool !

"Jesus can be whatever they need Him to be because as far as they are concerned, their Jesus is no more real than Superman."

Yup.
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.
