The SuperAmericaBPHoliday metro wide price fixing mark hit $3.859 yesterday.

Costco held at $3.599.  Glad I got that membership to avoid these weekly gouges, which are a fixture of any market Super America or Speedway controls.

Costco's premium is 3.75 too!   ::thumbsup::  Beware SA 91 (non-oxygenated) premium going for 4.50/gal!   ::speechless:: (Isn't it interesting that something without all the BS in like ethanol costs MORE?!)

Think it's up to $3.809.  It was +21c this morning when I filled up.  But yes, all dealers gouge the crap out of pure gas.  The cost of having something only semi-legal.

I have to top off on the way home, will hit CostCo and see where they're at.  I guess it doesn't matter, tank runs low...fill tank!

And counting using the Costco Amex card (3% more off), the end price is $3.48, nearly 40c cheaper than the established gouge mark.  Yep, that $55 membership fee will pay for itself in a few months with just gas, let alone anything else bought in the store.

I went into a new Costco here recently and didn't see anything that interested me so I didn't get a membership.  Hadn't thought about the gas.  I didn't realize there was that big of a price difference.  I guess I should check.  I'd make the membership back in weeks...

Speaking of Costco ... Joan Rivers handcuffed herself to a shopping cart at one location to protest them for not carrying her book.   ::)

3.75 for premium (92) yesterday at local CostCo...looks like oil might be flatening, so perhaps prices will ease a bit.

Luckily for us most will see he is part of the problem and no part of a solution...except the latter where is instant removal will make a huge impact!

Triple A says that today's average price for gas sets a record (for today, August 20). The AP helpfully points out, though, that prices should be somewhat lower by Labor Day so everyone should be just happy, happy, happy.

Higher gas prices. Higher food prices. Higher taxes. Higher inflation.

Still have room to grow with interest rates but otherwise everything sucks.

Great stats for re-election efforts. Go team!

The EIA numbers are just a bit off for Washington state. We're hovering around the $4 mark at everything except the discount gas stations (which are at about $3.90). We have a Shell refinery here in western Washington that has been down for repairs for months now and I've heard that this is the reason why fuel prices have been so much higher than anything except Hawaii.

The Ethanol-free gas that I but for my pickup has been running around $4.35 but it's worth it not to have to run that cat-pee that they're pushing on us elsewhere.

So it was @ $3.90 around the 26th of June. Then it took a nose-dive and bottomed out @ $3.49 by around July 30th. It started to creep up and I thought about topping of the vehicles but it suddenly took off and back to $3.98 (.35 in two weeks). People are shell-shocked when they pull up to the pump.

Oh, and the station just instituted a .10/gal fee for card users.

Paid $3.659 at Costco when most neighboring stations are also in that range.  Look for the local SuperAmericaBPHoliday led pricefix to hit $3.899 any day now.
