3.43 in Tennessee now.....and most stations are crossing the 3.50 barrier.

On a nationwide basis the cost has gone up over 13% the past month, and the economy blows...any legitimate demand comes along or a surprise in the production and distribution chain and prices could get fugly in a hurry.  And I know refineries are whipping up the summer blend   ::)  now.

$3.859 cartel, $3.699 Costgo.  Look for the push to $3.999 for the weekend, at the cartel.

From what I can tell, the price per gallon rises every day, and has for something like 27+ days in a row.  If Obongo wasn't in office, the Presstitutes would be screaming about this as they were when GW was President.

Yeah, instead we're being treated to articles with titles such as "Why the price of gas doesn't really matter" and "Why the president is powerless to affect the price of gas".

But there's no media bias, conspiracy theorists.

My frined, on her express bus commute from Staten Island to Manhattan this morning, saw a BP station on 21st St and the West Side charging $4.19.

Are you planning to leave NYC at some point Rick? It's not somewhere I'd want to be when things really start getting extracurricular.

With my health, it's very hard.  Not just moving, but finding a good EP cardio who is taking on new patients and who can monitor my brand of ICD; I'm tethered to doctors plus 'my' hospital.  And my immediate 'family' are on the 'leave me the fukc alone or I'll kill you' list, so no help from that quarter; Dad's dead and Mom's got Alzheimers (sounds like a Warren Zevon song).

I'm not sure what I'm going to do but I may end up going down with the zombie apocolypse.
