In my younger days (high school to be precise) this guy would have been water balloon bait. Not just any water ballooning, mind you...
We would have a full size Chevy or Ford van with the sliding side door set up for a devastating WB attack. The van would pull up near the victim, usually about twenty to thirty feet away for maximum effect. The door would slide open revealing the shooter. The shooter would be using a WB slingshot that would hold a softball sized WB. The slingshot would be a pair of surgical tubes attached to the sliding door frame. The WB would be launched as soon as the door was open and the target acquired. The victim would never have enough time to react even if he saw it coming. More often than not the victim would be knocked completely off their feet, especially if the WB connected with the target's head. And that was, of course, long before youtube but it would have made great video. In the photo above the moron is similar to the freeway "homeless" types who were a favorite target of the high powered WB assaults. Hobo hunting.
