Apparently, when  your main customers are a bunch of adults that want the government to create a Country-wide kindergarten, where everyone can visit the school nurse, everyone gets a cookie, no one gets to say "mean things" ( about them) , and your life decisions have no more consequence than when you are playing a board game, you are best off marketing to them as children.

UPDATE: Okay, its probably intentionally funny. However, its probably pretty unfunny to potential Prius buyers.  
Maybe the C denotes the children's version?

I saw the Life ad last night and my reaction was "that will sell cars?"  But then I'm not the target market.

The people in the ads are supposed to be cool and hip --I guess-- they come off as not being able to  think.
