Now that's scary time to go and get more ammo. ::rockets::

I just picked up another 250 rounds for my .40 that brings me up to 750   850 rounds in the house.

That's a pretty decent amount for a rainy day.  Now you need to add a longarm of some kind to your inventory.

Critters are stirring.

And [Sandy] Adams, R-Orlando, said it "leaves the door open for the president to give himself control over American resources during both times of peace, and national crisis."

So Adams filed a nonbinding resolution specifying what Obama cannot do with the order — including institute a draft, confiscate personal property and "force civilians to engage in labor against their will or without compensation."

Non-binding eh?  This regime scoffs at binding acts of law, let alone what amounts to obsequious suggestions.

I'm thinking of binding too...my enemies before I slow-roast them over an open spit!

Interesting comparison:

Quote
for the purchase of up to 450 million rounds of .40-caliber S&W 180-grain pistol ammunition. It's "the quantity projected to be used over the next five years" by DHS, excluding the Coast Guard,
...
(For a scale comparison, the Army in 2010 ordered 200 million rounds of its improved M855A1 5.56 round for use in Afghanistan, describing that amount as a 12- to 15-month supply.)
