Well, not exactly but this technology opens the door to unlimited imagination.

Nokia has filed for a patent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office that would allow a tattoo and a user’s phone to communicate. Using haptic feedback, or as Nokia calls it, “a perceivable impulse,” users would be alerted to a new call, text message, or e-mail right from the tattoo. The application was filed last September and became public last week.

OK, that tingle on the ass might cause a lot of missed calls!   ::hysterical::

LadyVirginia:
As if many people don't already use their cell phone as an additional appendage....

I wouldn't give up my cell phone but...

I still use my answering machine to screen calls..I've never felt obligated to respond to a call, text or email unless I felt like it.  Someone's intrusion into my time and space doesn't obligate me to answer.

Libertas:
I feel the same way LV!

 ::thumbsup::

Drives my siblings nuts when I don't respond immediately to every message.  Oh well.
