Gottfried tweeted: "Japan is really advanced. They don't go to the beach. The beach comes to them." He also posted: "I just split up with my girlfriend, but like the Japanese say, 'They'll be another one floating by any minute now."[/blockquote]
It is as if no one at Aflac ever bothered to catch his standup act and are "surprised" that this would pop out of his piehole. I have heard him occasionally on XM's comedy channel and (although I am not easily offended) I just can't tolerate his flavor (apparently dogsh*t flavor) of humor. The man goes out of his way to be as offensive as possible. I am aware that most people who get into standup tend to have emotional issues that border on the neurotic (Robin Williams comes to mind) but Gottfried is at the extreme far end of that spectrum.
So gosh, I'm all upset for both parties involved here.
