Apparantly, you are correct. I've seen this behavior. I've been to my share of company conferences, where very professional  people act childish. One of my own reps ended up sleeping with someone from another branch and wondered why his family life is chit. I personally don't trust people who act in this manner.

For all the hooker-cavorting among a bored entourage with time on its hands, there was no one to proofread President Obama’s speech. So the president of the United States called it “the Maldives,” an entirely different bit of British Commonwealth real estate half a world away in the Indian Ocean. Were the speechwriting staff also face down in the hooker bar? “Jush a minute, baby. Hic. Obama's spokesman has assailed Republican criticism that has attempted to blame a lack of presidential leadership for the scandal and has said Obama would be angry if allegations published so far proved to be true.

Uhh huh, umm, on whose watch did this happen?  If it was Bush the MFM would be getting mileage on this issue through election day, and you know it, ObamaBot!

Grassley, in his letter to Sullivan and the Homeland Security inspector general, Charles Edwards, asked about checks on hotels in Cartagena for White House advance staff members and the White House Communications Agency, which includes military personnel: "Have records for overnight guests for those entities been pulled as part of the investigation? ... If not, why not?"

Additionally, Grassley, top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, asked whether rooms were shared by Secret Service, the communications agency and the presidential advance staff.



Yeah, well, Ibet The Regime is getting scapegoats lined up and shredding crap as we speak, so, just like every other disaster this outfit creates/encounters, the truth will be casulaty #1.

Contrary to the bitching by Carney and other WH spokesholes, the SS kerfuffle is a welcome distraction from the beating Duh Wun took at that Summit:

Obama was already dealing with other diversions. He began the day complaining about other side issues that were competing with his optimistic message of economic growth in the Americas and the opportunity it presented to both the United States and its neighbors to the south.

U.S. insistence that Cuba not participate in the summit prompted Ecuador's president to boycott the session and other Latin American leaders complained that this would be the last Summit of the Americas unless Cuba was allowed to attend in the future. Some leaders cited old grievances against the United States to illustrate their complaints.

To that, Obama chafed.

He said he felt like he was in a "time warp" of "gun-boat diplomacy and yanquis and the Cold War and this and that" dating to a time before he was born.
