...a century after Japan presented the people of the United States with 3,000 cherry trees, the US is reciprocating by presenting Japan with 3,000 dogwood trees to be planted in a Tokyo park.
That’s right. Dogwood. The President of the United States was heard to exclaim, rubbing his hands with delight: “You mean they grow on trees??”
You know what would taste good to Obama right now? A dogwood.
Plus Treacher also give a mention to huge O'Bongo fanboy, Christopher Buckley's new book, "They Eat Puppies, Don't They?" No, it's not a joke. He really wrote
a book with that title. It will be released on May 8th. Fortuitous timing if ever there was.
