Federal Farmers

The United States House of Representatives is busy at work writing legislation, with the help of the Humane Society amongst others, dictating codifing farm and ranch management.

Lawmakers and representatives from animal agriculture joined forces to educate nearly 100 people about the deliberate emphasis farmers and ranchers place on caring for the health and well-being of their animals.

The briefing was hosted a coalition of agricultural organizations working to stop H.R. 3798. The coalition includes NCBA; the Egg Farmers of America; the National Pork Producers Council; the National Milk Producers Federation; the American Sheep Industry; and the American Farm Bureau Federation.

Rick Perry was correct when he said congress shouldn't be paid, they should live by our laws, and should meet for a brief period every other year.

(sigh)

Sure, OK, if I must.

1 - Congress doesn't know sh*t about any industry, short of their own corrupt schemes for personal wealth and power, so they should FVCK OFF!

2 - Look at the list of socialist/communist/statist asshats supporting this abomination!

http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:HR03798:@@@P

There should be ZERO Repub co-sponsors and ZERO Repub votes for this BS!

But there is Repub support!  Look at the end of the list above!  Allen West?!  WTF?!?!?!

Apparently, there is no stopping the stupidity!

There ought to be a massive mobilization of angry farmers forming a blockade around DC!

But, disappointment is my longest lasting companion, so I doubt anything much will happen.
