It seems more complicated than it is. Once you get the process down, it adds about 20-30 seconds onto posting a URL...

Renaming a link
-You may wish for http://itsaboutliberty.com to appear like It's About Liberty. To make your links appear as clickable text, follow these steps (removing all spaces):
[blockquote]-Copy and paste url into edit window
-immediately following url (with no spaces) add text as you'd like it to appear.
[blockquote]-EXAMPLE: http ://itsaboutliberty.comIt's About Liberty[/blockquote]
-Highlight url and added text and click "link" button (little globe 3rd from the left)
[blockquote]-EXAMPLE: [url ]http://itsaboutliberty.comIt's About Liberty[/url ][/blockquote]
-"Cut" right bracket from first [url ], and replace it with =
[blockquote]-EXAMPLE: [url =http://itsaboutliberty.comIt's About Liberty[/url][/blockquote]
-Paste "cut" bracket ] immediately between url and added text
[blockquote]-EXAMPLE: [url =http://itsaboutliberty.com]It's About Liberty[/url][/blockquote]
-Your link will now appear renamed as clickable text in your post.
-If you'd like your renamed link to appear bolded as does the above example, just highlight the text between ] and [ and click the "B" button.[/blockquote]

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I usually click on the globe and get this [url ][/url ]
center curser between ][;  erase the 2nd ] type in = then paste in the link and close with   ] and add phrase

same thing, probably not faster but that's how my mind works--so I don't have to go back  & make sure I position the curser between words exactly...

I gladly resume the tHugo death watch...hopefully something to celebrate soon...although Venezuela may yet find another left-wing loser to replace him...still, be nice to see this loser leave the planet...

Just an educated guess, but when that commie thug Chavez dies, you can bet Owebama will go to the funeral, no standins for this one.  I'd also bet he'll have all government offices, including the White House, lower the flag to half-staff.

There's more than one pretender in the wings.  Heard a report saying that if he is declared dead before the swearing in date there will be legal controversy between the two; however, if he is declared dead after the swearing in date the transition will be smooth.

And as to the tags[url etc. one may find it comfortable to just type them in as he is composing.

I'd rather see all the flags burned than honor that effing trash!

Can't remember where I heard it and don't have time to research but, apparently Gray Davis (Ca. Governor) may be battling cancer also.
