Holocaust Remembrance Day
« on: April 19, 2012, 07:51:46 PM »
"Today we make time to pause and remember the six million Jews who suffered untold cruelty and unimaginable horrors at the hands of those with unfettered and deeply evil power.  The Holocaust, which was the plan of the Nazi party for their “Final Solution” to exterminate the Jews, was rooted in one man’s hate-filled ideology.  Adolph Hitler, the Führer of Germany from 1934 to 1945, lead the mass slaughter of innocent human beings in his genocidal cleansing campaign to rid the world of our Jews.  One and a half million Jewish children were murdered, and approximately 2/3 of Europe’s Jews were exterminated."

I just cannot imagine. To see all those families suffer and the hatred for a good and decent people. It runs the series of emotions for me. I do not have words. Today I will reflect and pray. Please Lord do not let hatred over come me and bless my Jewish brothers and sisters.........

Praise the Lord for the Greatest Country God ever Created the U.S.

I wonder how some will feel one day when they find out the King of Kings and Lord of Lords is a Jew...............

The words "never forget" should not be exclusive to Jews, all should remember when, how and why.

I still remember certain shows about liberated camps, the last one I saw was one about Patton's 3rd Army as he rescued a son-in-law at a POW camp that nearly blew up in his face, shortly after that they liberated the Buchenwald concentration camp (6th Armored Division).  They interviewed people, one of them a nurse, I cannot imagine seeing what they saw.  Combat vets who experienced the worst that war has to offer were stunned and sickened at what they saw.

Never forget.
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.

Man, I love that Robin Mark album. Every song. This one in particular. It taught me the truth of worship in song bringing one consciously into God's presence.

GARMENTS OF PRAISE with lyrics by Robin Mark
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson
