There is one certainty, those who work for a living will vote for Romney.
Even those with the dimmest political awareness know why gas doubled
in price, they know why food costs so much more and they know the
first step to getting rid of that pain is to cut out the malady.

There is a second group of solid Romney voters, those out of work folks who
wish to resume their labor, they also know the source of their discomfort and
the first step to remedy.

I'll remain hopeful.

But I'm still worried that what will end up happening is:

Mittens wins, then completely botches everything by being squishy. The economy doesn't really improve and BAM! 2016 rolls around and the voters are out for blood. Next thing you know, Hitlery Clinton gets elected and finishes what Obama started - except she'd do it smart so she'd actually get away with it.

OR

Obama wins and we get more of the same and/or radical progressive supreme court appointments.

Either way it's a win-win for the enemies of America.

I really hope I'm wrong...

That's been my nightmare - except instead of the Hildebeast it's "Sloppy" Joe Biden...  ::facepalm::

I've said it before - that if Romney governs half as conservatively as he's campaigned, he'll be a more conservative president than Ronald Reagan.

Either he will or he won't, and those who doubt that he will (like me, for instance) are logically skeptical.

But for all practical purposes, that ship has sailed. Like Charles said, the first step in the remedy is to cut out the malady. Obama is the malady, and for those who choose to wield it, Romney is the scalpel. Once the malady is gone, then healing is possible, but not before.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Romney has said that he will probably be a 1 term president.  He expects to change America back to what we grew up in and he knows that the massive liberal machine will not go down without a fight.  They will make 2016 there battle cry just as hard as we made 2012 ours.

I tend to be skeptical of any conservatism in Mitt's bones.
He's never shown (unless it was to Ann Coulter)

His genetics aren't there.

Possibly in either case.

I don't think Romney hates America

Lol.  I don't believe he does either.  Even if he loves himself more than he loves the country, we're still better off with him than the guy who hates us, everything we are, and everything for which we stand.

FOR. NOW.

Oh, crap.  Probably NOT the endorsement Mitt was hoping for!
