I like Disco.

I like to dance.   ::bustamove::

I like "Thriller".

I like Dino, too (Chapel in the Moonlight; Return To Me).  And Patsy Cline and Roy Orbison and R.E.M. and ....

There are some subjects that one should probably just let go in order to preserve a domestic tranquility.

I think I'm just gonna stay out of that whole "sauce" vs. "gravy" thing.
My doctor told me to start killing people.  Not in those exact words, she said I had to reduce the stress in my life.

Same thing.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I bet, secretly, Libertas listens to old vinyl Liberace and Pat Boone recordings! You know, when no one else is around...closes all the curtains, turns down the lights...

...oh yeah, we all know the truth now Libertas!  ;D

I was raised on Beatles music. They figure prominently on my desire to become a musician.

One of my "guilty pleasures" is "Across the universe"  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0445922/ a musical love story (for lack of a better description) that features a bunch of Beatles covers - including a snippet of an awesome rendition of "A Day in The Life" by Jeff Beck and a gut-wrenching version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by Martin Luther. I sometimes play the movie as background noise when I'm working.

Um, why was my line changed from "Paul, meet The Fonz?"  Unless IDP is claiming singership of the Kiss disco "classic."
