The only problem I see with this experiment is that glass is also a liquid, so how long before the funnel is too misshapen to allow pitch to drop?

What a totally useless waste of good pitch.If I may offer a better use, heat the pitch to about  175 F, grab some feathers a brush, apply it liberally to a liberal like Gov. Perdue of NC tie her stupid ass to a rail and run  her out of state.
