My first ex became a truck driver sometime after we split. She had hooked up with a guy who was long-haul and he talked her into signing up for trucking school (and quit paying child support as a consequence).

On one of her first solo trips she cut across an area of blacktop that had a 12 inch drop that she didn't see. She twisted the frame on the tractor causing $70,000 damage (bother frame rails had to be replaced).

She is still driving truck.

It's also obvious the driver didn't have a clue as to the height of her truck and trailer -- classic "Dumbing down America" IMO...
