I chose instead to take comfort in Trap's new byline.   ::thumbsup::

Yeah, Regretsy has completely shut down so I lost my link to the epic anti-hippie rant. Things gotta change, I guess.

What? You didn't copy and paste it into a word doc?

Ack. You are right. April Winchell has betrayed us. I don't see the archive anywhere.

She's kind of a cute hippie.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I smell (no pun intended) troll hippy.  Where's the excessive body hair, piercings, lack of hygiene, and tats?

So I actually wrote April Winchell and asked if she is putting the Regretsy Archive back up. Somewhere or someday.
In the meantime she had this picture posted...

UPDATE:  April emailed me back - almost immediately in fact.  She says off line for now.. and she is taking a break, so she is not sure when its going to be back up.. point is, at some point it will probably return..

I finally broke down and watched the complete video.

My assessment is: When you have no singing talent, you better do something to take the viewers mind off your voice. She was horrible. Pitchy, off key. She can't sing.

Y'all ever watch Castle episodes?  They have reruns on TNT.  Adam Baldwin played a lunatic cop in one episode, Gino Torres was in one.  There was an episode where Castle (Fillion) spoke Chinese and when asked about it responded he got it "from a TV show he used to like".

The opening scene on this one is funny, another reference to Firefly -

"B.  Didn't you wear that like five years ago?"

"So?"

"So don't you think you should move on?"

"I like it."

The scene was from 2009, and Serenity was released in 2005, with filming probably over in 2004, making the time difference that magic 5 years.

Heh!

That has to be an early Castle; his face is still thin in it.  Ole Nathan has put on a few pounds since then and his face has filled out too.

Yup.  The 2012-2013 episodes sport a beefier Nathan...do I take it that Pan no longer finds Mr. Fillion attractive?   ::pokeineye::

No, I don't, but it's got nothing to do with the extra "beef"; it's because he's an Obongo-dope.

In Hollyweird the list of anti-Obongo-dope's is quite small.   ::facepalm::

Nice to see you hold to your standards!   ::thumbsup::

It's hard to believe that this was made by leftists but I guess it had to be...conservatives just can't do this sort of thing. Not and make it be funny.

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.
