Saw this one on Facebook.  It even got a laugh out of my wife, so I thought I'd pass it on:

My wife asked me why I carry a gun everywhere, even inside the house.

    I answered, "Decepticons."

She laughed.  I laughed.  The toaster laughed.

    I shot the toaster.

Maybe I should look into that satellite thingy...morning crap around here blows!  Rock station shock jocks giggling about poop and butts and barfing after a hard night boozing or boring talk show clowns nobody knows or cares to know about...

Wait, isn't satellite radio a single evil conglomerate now?  Sirius/XM/whatever?  Are they evil?  Do they support progs?

I haven't listened to morning radio since about 1990 or so.  Is KQ still playing the same 5 songs, over and over?

I dunno.  Is that little mealy-mouthed libiot schmuck Gelfand still on there?  I haven't caught that show in eons...the old Passolt parody of Coach Burns was good, that's all I remember...I bet they still giggle about butts and poop though...

Yes, yes, I have no idea, ditto.

I had XM years ago.  Was a pain in the butt to cancel, harder than even Comcast.  They ended up charging me a month past the time I started trying to cancel.  I said reverse it or I'll never be back.  They didn't and I never did, nor would ever want to.

Not when I can now plug in my phone, and drive down the road and listen to any radio station in the world.

From Cliff Asness' list, a commenter added one that is pretty good:

the Rules of Sewage

Hey, that's actually not too bad.

And America has been pumped full of sewage for what...how many decades now?

At some point the stench will become inescapable even for the most dense and glandularly challenged...but by then its too late, the sewage is winning...nothing left to do but, ahh...burn it all.
