And they're smiling, yet.  The quintessential TEA Party people.  I like it.

That is SO true.
“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”

A new installment of the best (worst!?) of regresty.

I debated about posting these to the proof we are doomed as a society thread, but really all of Regresty is that. As always, Regresty should be assumed to be NSFW, probably offensive to the finer sensibilities, very likely disturbing, and generally gross.  Click at your own risk.

It could be real.....if you look close you will see he does not actually WEAR it.....he just uses it in his song and dance routine! ::rimshot::

It's actually the snake's hat. The squirrel's playing keep-away.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Ah, the Festerman family. You know, I could describe this story but that just wouldn't do it justice. Instead I will give you a quote and a link. And yeah, there is a great video at the link, too.

Quote
"It smells like somebody hasn't took a bath for three months and their butt is really, really sweaty and they haven't wiped their tush in a long time."

I could have listed this under either of the culture watch threads (racially mixed marriage) but these people are just goofy stupid. It's not that they are criminals or anything...well, not yet...the father is possibly going to serve time for this bit of idiocy...they are just whacked out stupid and it's pretty funny. Imagine telling this story during family gatherings for the next several decades.

Quote
"We've gone to Kmart....We've done it at like Dollar General. Everyone laughed."

Looked up the "product" on youtube and that's probably where the Festermans got their inspiration. There are quite a few videos of Walmart incidents.

The Festerman's mistake? They got caught. You have to think these things through all the way, look for "outs" if trouble arises, etc. Now they will have their fifteen minutes of fame. Great family name for this situation, btw. Jason Festerman looks like he could have been an extra in "Idiocracy."

I would like to hire them, though, to visit Harry Reid's office.
