Should it not be an impeachable offense for the executive branch to so arbitrarily enforce laws that the obvious spirit and intent of the law itself is thwarted by selective enforcement?

Where are the f**king subpoenas?
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I dunno, I keep asking that on a host of issues, and bottom line whatever congress and committee chairs are doing isn't entirely what they should be doing.  The ability to prioritize, delegate and recognize low hanging fruit ripe for picking seems to be not among their strengths.  Must be busy fund raising and hitting each other up for amendment sponsorships to bring the pork home.  Meanwhile We the People are the ones getting porked left and right...

I guess he is saying the constitution is moot (big shock there) and/or has already been violated and a new precedent set by the current occupant!

These criminals dare show their faces, and in front of Nappy-head no less, and nothing is done?  NOTHING?!

Illegal immigrant students and members of the House sued the Senate this week to try to overturn the upper chamber’s filibuster rule, arguing that the 60-vote supermajority requirement violates the Constitution and is blocking important legislation such as legalization for illegal immigrants.

If successful, the lawsuit, filed Monday, would rewrite the way the Senate operates — though courts generally have been reluctant to meddle in internal congressional rules.

Just updating the thread...

Again, another one for the DC Circuit, on a matter of separation of powers I don't see this going any where...but the Progs are like cockroaches...once the lights are off they come scurrying back to breed their evil brood and spread disease...they'll keep trying...
