Shopping For People You Really Don't Like
« on: March 17, 2011, 01:14:32 PM »
Every once in a while you are faced with having to purchase a gift for someone that you would just as soon drop kick across the room but for various reasons (like your spouse is making you do it) you have to.

So...what do you get someone who, to you, is a complete horse's ass?

I would suggest that you could do worse than starting with a gift book from this list.

Feel free to offer up other suggestions.

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

If it's a liberal, may I suggest you go to that official govt site where you can make a "voluntary contribution" to paying down the national debt? Then print off the certificate and tell them as their gift, a contribution was made in their name to the national debt.

Since liberals think paying taxes is the noblest gesture, I'm sure they would be genuinely touched by something like this as opposed to a bourgeois, materialistic DVD or something.

Screw that - If I ever need to buy for a lib I'll make a contribution in their name to the NRA!

Or make a donation to a home for unwed (pregnant/non-abortive) mothers.
