KY lake results
« on: May 27, 2012, 04:07:04 PM »
We could only squeeze out an 8th place last friday on KY lake. One of our members caught a true hawg (9.83lbs).

Nice! Our bass season just opened yesterday, and it's been pouring buckets or too windy to get on the water ever since.

Soon, though. Won't be denied.

The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Still a pretty good showing, Don. ::thumbsup::

I'm busting my butt at work so I can head to Toledo Bend at the end of next month. ::cool::

Is he a big man? That fish doesn't look that big? Or, is it a different fish. That fish would shatter the Minnesota state record by 1 lb. I caught a 6 1/4 pounder and she looks bigger than that. Unfortunately, Mrs Miltrainer has way too many honey-dos for me to fish that much.  >:(

I'm not sure if it is the fish. I saw it and it was huge. The fish we are holding from the guntersville trip may not have been the bass we actually caught. Great care is taken to keep them alive, so we have a conditioned holding tank. After weigh in, the fish are placed in the tank. I know the large bass swam away after release.

On a tangent...

I notice your "Seniors" tourney trail is for ages 50+. Does that mean I'm a senior citizen next year?

Can ya put that biggun on ice and ship it up to me?  I'd like to hook it on a line and see people freak out as I pull it out of my lake!
