Syria

This whole deal is a joke!

First, go ahead, expel diplomats, like I care.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303807404577433680082400156.html

But all this BS about military action?  Screw that noise!

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/may/28/houla-massacre-us-military-warns

I do not care what happens in Syria and unless they are pissing off Israel (which will only get them their asses properly handed to them) then BFD, no American troops, period!  Russia and Iran call the shots in that sh*thole and I don't want us anywhere near it!

It is Islamic against Islamic. If we help, when the dust settles they still hate us.

Welllll..... we could help them "all the way" - so that when the dust settles... there's only dust, and no one remaining to hate us.

Just a thought. A pleasant one.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

The Regime's message on Syria is really a fustercluck, and if not for the "Arab (Muzzie) Spring" they helped inflict it really wouldn't be an issue...now the Rooskies are kicking in attack helo's and barry cannot decide if he likes this or not...

http://www.wtop.com/289/2377364/US-Russia-sending-Syria-attack-helicopters

And I still am opposed to using our forces in any capacity.  Not our problem, no strategic concern as long as they keep their mitts off Israel and like I care if Turkey gets sucked into it...damn Turks have been radicalizing like crazy over the past several years and I don't give a rip what happens to them one bit.

On a side note, this is bizzare, nothing like creating a bunch of roid-raged zombies to do your dirty work.

Obama owns the Arab Spring more than he owns Afghanistan
and he owns Afghanistan lock, stock and barrel.

These are his wars and disruptions he sews the seeds of dissent
wherever he is, wherever his voice is heard.   Ring a bell?

Syria is one of those periodic bush wars, in which normal people hope both sides lose.

The best reporting on Syria comes from The Grayzone.
This is not what you see in the MSM. Their sources are often US officials being quoted from the past. One source here is a journalist who was captured in Syria and later escaped. They cite their sources.

Former hostage responds to top diplomat calling Al Qaeda a US 'asset' in Syria
4,520 views•Apr 11, 2021

Amid a public relations campaign to rehabilitate the Al Qaeda franchise in Syria -- which rules Idlib, Syria's last militant-controlled province – former top US diplomat James Jeffrey has called the group a US "asset." Lindsey Snell, an independent journalist who escaped captivity by Al Qaeda in Syria, responds.

Guest: Lindsey Snell, independent journalist covering the Middle East and North Africa. In 2016, she was kidnapped by the Al Qaeda group in Syria, what was then called al-Nusra, and escaped after 10 days.

Well, duh...

They have the JoeFraud Regime with all of the Obamao scumsucking puppets back in play and no longer hiding in the cracks to muck things up again just like when they started all that BS "Arab Spring" crap that did nothing but drop the leash for all manner of radical Pisslamic scum to run amok and culminated in the purposeful abandonment of Benghazi and the execution of our people and the sacking a area commanders who wanted to respond.

See, this si why I get pissed off that people who pretend to know better actually didn't interfere in the US's fraud-filled election and let PCS2 happen...so if it gets a bunch of people killed, hard to feel sorry for any of them...right???

One mystery to me is why Obama and SOS Clinton lied about the reason for the attack on Benghazi. Saying it was another US intelligence failure would have worked better.  Even an Obama hater like me would shrugged. 4 body bags is a small number for a US intelligence screw up. I think something really hinky was going down at Benghazi and Obama and Clinton panicked.

I recall the meeting between the US ambassador and the Turkish official was to arrange the transfer of arms from Benghazi to Syria via Turkey. Although some of that might have happened already. There was an arms depot at Benghazi. Maybe guarded by the CIA mercenaries.
The attack was professional. One yelled "Morsi sent us" in Arabic.

Why?
1. They were pissed that 'their' weapons were being shipped to Syria.
2. They were there to kidnap Steven to exchange for the blind Sheik. It appeared they did not try to kill Stevens. He died of smoke inhalation.
3. #2 but Obama knew about it.
The US later admitted to shipping  weapons to Syria.

Quote
A mysterious Libyan ship -- reportedly carrying weapons and bound for Syrian rebels -- may have some link to the Sept. 11 terror attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Fox News has learned.

Through shipping records, Fox News has confirmed that the Libyan-flagged vessel Al Entisar, which means "The Victory," was received in the Turkish port of Iskenderun -- 35 miles from the Syrian border -- on Sept. 6, just five days before Ambassador Chris Stevens, information management officer Sean Smith and former Navy Seals Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were killed during an extended assault by more than 100 Islamist militants.
...
Quote
According to an initial Sept. 14 report by the Times of London, Al Entisar was carrying 400 tons of cargo. Some of it was humanitarian, but also reportedly weapons, described by the report as the largest consignment of weapons headed for Syria's rebels on the frontlines.

"This is the Libyan ship ... which is basically carrying weapons that are found in Libya," said Walid Phares, a Fox News Middle East and terrorism analyst. "So the ship came all the way up to Iskenderun in Turkey. Now from the information that is available, there was aid material, but there were also weapons, a lot of weapons."

Yeah, they didn't want their fingerprints to be known by enemies foreign and domestic on the weapons shipments to lunatics.
