Personally I never gave much stock to the Illuminati conspiracy theory...my belief has always been that something so big and massive cannot exist in a vacuum, that plugging all leaks is impossible...do these movers & shakers have influence?  Yeah, sure, most are big shot industrialists and other businessmen, bankers and financiers, politicians and notables.  But do they have secret decoder rings and handshakes...bizarre rituals...and control over the entire world?  Ehh, kinda hard to buy that.  Influential and consequential, yeah.  Beyond that...
