Geometric logic
« on: June 11, 2012, 08:04:10 PM »
Never  quite saw it this way - but, it's an interesting  assessment

  The  Wonder of it All:

  1.  The sport of choice for the urban poor is  BASKETBALL.

  2.  The sport of choice for maintenance level  employees is BOWLING.

  3.  The sport of choice for front-line workers is  FOOTBALL.

  4.  The sport of choice for supervisors is  BASEBALL.

  5.  The sport of choice for middle management is  TENNIS.

  6.  The sport of choice for corporate executives and  officers is GOLF.

  THE  AMAZING CONCLUSION:

The  higher you go in the corporate structure, the  smaller your balls become.

Therefore,  one might conclude, there must be a ton of people  in Washington playing marbles.

What about ice hockey. ::thinking::

I always liked those big beach-ball thingys that the leftists use as orthopedically-correct "chairs". I got one for my office as the only other chair in the room.

It conveys a subtle message when visitors come around ;-)

Those other sports don't give a puck . . .
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

And wingshooting....
My doctor told me to start killing people.  Not in those exact words, she said I had to reduce the stress in my life.

Same thing.

That one flew out the window...

Yeah me too, about 35 years and 80 pounds ago!   ::speechless::

Now I play golf and don't have the executive position to go along with it.

Well, OK that latter part is by choice.

I was on the rifle team - not so sure they exist in high schools anymore though.

We didn't play with any balls in that sport. Maybe that says something all by itself.  ::angel::
