Does anyone doubt that if he thought he could oversee a federal government that would consume private means of production and make that government the sole provider of goods and services to the populace that he would not hesitate? I don't.
It could be he is politically astute enough to know he lacks the political capital to do such a take over. But Astute is never a word I would use to describe him. If he were a Marxist True Believer, the deals he is making with banks, and with Big Pharma, or even with BP over the oil spill would grate upon him. A smart and astute politician would keep those thoughts and feelings to themselves and pragmatically accept the advances they could get. I don't see the petulant child in office having that sort of self control.
I really do think he just wants to see the world burn. I don't think its about control for him. Its about Justice. Its about punishing those evil bitter clinging white Christian Americans for their imperialism and racism. "Social Justice" is a tool in that toolbox, but if he can push the banks and the country into more debt and destroy our prosperity by encouraging the excesses of (Crony) Capitalism, he will do that do as well. If there is an opportunity to insult or hurt the American people, he tends to take it, regardless of the political capital spent, or the political avenues it closes. Sometimes his handlers can prevent it, because they have that Marxist agenda and will to power. But I am not sure our malignant narcissist in Chief cares. He has 40 years of bitterness over being abandoned by his Socialist father, the teachings of Black Theology, the teachings of Islam, anti-Americanism from living abroad, and a lack of identity that Guide him. I think he just wants to make sure he leaves a mark on the world. Obama was here. If that mark is Black and Blue, it wont bother him, any more than his reputation in the Choom Gang "bothered him" - He was proud of being that smart ass doper he was , and now he is proud of being able to punk the rest of the world that looked down on him as the little unloved, unethical, rat bastard he was, and is.
